According to the Million Trees Movement day which falls on January 10 2023, PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia carried out a mangrove tree planting activity in Kp. Beting RT 03, RW 02 Pantai Bahagia Village, Muara Gembong District, Bekasi Regency.
The purpose of this mangrove planting activity is as a means of mitigating disasters, both the threat of a tsunami and also protecting the coast from abrasion, besides that mangrove plants can also become a habitat for fish.
This activity involved Rumah Zakat volunteers, the PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia team and also collaborated with local community members to carry out magrove planting activities.
How to plant mangrove trees taught by local residents is very easy. A mangrove tree seedling is planted touching the mud under the water, then tied to a piece of wood that has been stuck in the mud by the local residents.

Hopefully with this mangrove planting activity, it can protect the coast and become an appropriate disaster mitigation tool for the lives of the people around Pantai Bahagia Village. In addition, it can also strengthen the sense of kinship of local residents with Evalube and Rumah Zakat so that they can provide positive energy and impressions to one another.
