Jakarta, 25 Juni 2018 – PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia (WGI) laboratory which has received the ISO 17025 certificate from the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) participated in a proficiency test in the "2018 PLI Proficiency Test Program (PIAQA PLI-GO-29)" held by Petronas Lubricants International Sdn Bhd.

The proficiency test was attended by 39 participants from 26 countries around the world, the participant's laboratory consisting of PLI Lab & TB Lab including from Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa and America. For participant laboratories, proficiency testing is an external laboratory performance evaluation by providing quality assurance on the test results. This evaluation helps the laboratory to detect any irregularities in testing, both methods, equipment and implementation of testing, as well as finding the causes and methods of improvement.

Petronas Lubricants International Sbn Bhd distributes Blind samples or Round Robin samples that must be tested by all participant laboratories. This proficiency test emphasizes the accuracy of participants' laboratory test results, from 21 test laboratory test parameters. In this test, the PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia laboratory can perform 16 test parameters and successfully enter one of the three best laboratories seen from the Z Score <2.0 (ie obtained all test results within | Z | ≤ 2.0) from all participating laboratories throughout world.
