An earthquake of 7.4 magnitude and a tsunami that hit the Palu and Donggala regions in Central Sulawesi, has left a deep loss for the victims as well as the entire Indonesian nation, including PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia (WGI). To ease the burden of the people affected by the earthquake and tsunami, WGI donated Rp. 123,356,000, - which was channeled through the Central Indonesian Red Cross, Jakarta.
The symbolic donation was received by Dr. Ritola Tasmaya, MPH, Secretary General of the Indonesian Red Cross at PMI Headquarters. The donation that WGI gave, of course, cannot replace the damage and losses that have occurred, but WGI feels that it is very necessary to support disaster management programs, especially to help the survival of survivors.
